A Milwaukee Brewers fan in Paris built an app to answer one question:

IS THE MIZ PITCHING?

IsTheMizPitching.com started as a deliberately simple solution to a very specific problem: a Brewers fan living seven hours ahead of Milwaukee wanted to know whether Jacob Misiorowski was pitching before deciding whether to stay awake.

What began as a giant YES or NO has grown into an unofficial Miz Day companion, with upcoming starts, local and Paris start times, velocity tracking, season statistics, start recaps, records and Miz Lore.

But the question hasn't changed.

ABOUT ANDREW

Andrew O'Grogan is a Milwaukee native, Marquette University graduate, and digital consultant living in Paris. After more than a decade in San Francisco, he moved to France, where following his hometown teams often means unusually late nights.

He co-founded digital agency LFNTLY and works across web development, UX, e-commerce and digital strategy for clients ranging from fashion brands to Spike Lee's 40 Acres and Spike's Joint. He also teaches digital strategy in Paris.

A lifelong Brewers fan, Andrew built Is The Miz Pitching? after repeatedly finding himself doing the same late-night calculation: Is Jacob Misiorowski pitching tonight, and do I need to stay awake for this?

What started as a simple YES-or-NO answer has grown into an app tracking Miz Days, start times, velocity, stats, recaps and the increasingly ridiculous experience of following one of baseball's most exciting pitchers from seven time zones away.

PRESS RELEASE
MILWAUKEE BREWERS FAN IN PARIS BUILDS APP TO ANSWER ONE QUESTION: IS THE MIZ PITCHING?

— A Milwaukee Brewers fan living seven hours ahead of his hometown team got tired of doing late-night schedule math just to figure out whether Jacob Misiorowski was pitching.

So he built an app for it.

IsTheMizPitching.com answers that question immediately with a giant YES or NO.

Created in Paris by Milwaukee native and Marquette University graduate Andrew O'Grogan, the project began as a deliberately simple way to determine whether another late night of Brewers baseball was necessary.

If Misiorowski was pitching, O'Grogan was staying awake.

If not, he could go to bed.

As Misiorowski's 2026 season grew increasingly difficult to ignore, the app grew with it.

Today, Is The Miz Pitching? includes upcoming start information, countdowns, local and Paris start times, velocity tracking, season statistics, start recaps, a Miz Day calendar and a collection of records and milestones known as Miz Lore.

Despite the additional features, the idea remains intentionally simple:

Is The Miz Pitching?

The project combines Milwaukee baseball fandom, Paris time-zone problems and a deliberately obsessive appreciation for one of baseball's most electric arms.
